Videojug is a great thing. My best friend introduced me to it. You can learn all sort of things on it – from alternative education to finding bargains. I think it’s pretty useful.

When you have many coupons, you have to start organizing them too. My favorite site – Tipnut – came up with these great tips how to organize coupons.

You can use:

• envelopes or
• expanding file or wallet or
• index file box.

You can sort them:

1. by expiry date
2. by products
3. alphabetically.

One of my favorite sites is Tipsnut because they always come up with great frugal ideas. I just love them. I found these great frugal kitchen tips. Let me share a couple of them with you:

• Try bulk cooking and you can save serious money on food. The site also teaches you how to cook once a month – it’s really useful.
• Don’t buy expensive cereals but make your own breakfast instead – find out how to cook oatmeal.
• Use powdered milk instead of fresh when you bake – it’s much cheaper.
• Never throw out bread because you can always make great croutons, bread crumbs etc.

Summer is here and every child wants to play outside and have fun. Sometimes they get bored and parents have to come up with some outdoor fun for kids. I’m so happy that I came across -frugal mom’s – Valerie’s blog because she has plenty of outdoor fun ideas. They are really great.

When you have a baby the biggest expenses are diapers, baby wipes and of course baby food. Here are a 3 frugal baby tips that you can use:

1. Use cloth diapers instead of disposable diapers: first is healthier and secondly it’s much better for the environment.
2. Many disposable diapers cause diaper rash what you can treat for free. You won’t need to buy expensive baby powders but you can switch to cornstarch. Yes, you heard it right. It’s less expensive and it’s more natural than artificial baby powders. Baby wipes can also be mad at home, you can check out how.
3. Baby food: making baby food is not as complicated as you may think. You only need an inexpensive baby food mill and off you go. You can make delicious baby food in you own kitchen which is healthier – you can i.e. thicken the food with breast milk (baby food that you can buy at the shop is thickened with water). If you buy a manual baby food mill you can even take it with you and make baby food wherever you are.
